WADI RUM
Situated only two hours drive south of Petra, Jordan's Wadi Rum is one of the most beautiful deserts in the world. It is filled with unbelievable rose sandstone mountains ('Jebels'), canyons and dunes. Wadi Rum itself was made famous by the exploits of Lawrence of Arabia during World World I, later becoming the setting for the film of the same name.
Wadi Rum is the territory of the Zalabea Bedouin tribe. The Zalabea areespecially renowned for their hospitality and great sense of humor. The Bedu of Wadi Rum have preserved specific knowledge related to the flora and fauna of the area, traditional medicine, camel husbandry, tent-making craftsmanship, as well as tracking and climbing skills.
With its many peaks and variety walks that offer endless trekking and climbing possibilities, Wadi Rum is now acknowledged as one of the world's foremost desert climbing and hiking areas. It is truly a magical landscape for your adventure and your soul.

HIKING & SCRAMBLING
Millennia of erosion resulted in wonderful mountains on Wadi Rum's desert sands, a place of dramatic beauty and an ideal environment for trekking.
BEDOUIN ROADS
Most of Wadi Rum's summits had been first climbed by bedouins, hunting or looking for water, then as a game. These ascents are done by walking and scrambling and a few rock climbing passages.
CLIMBING
Wadi Rum is now a worldwide famous climbing and mountaineering paradise. The sandstone fortresses numerous adventurous experiences, from classic "alpine" ascents to extremely impressive harder climbs.
