Jordan Aviation was founded in 2000 and its operations were initiated in October 2000. It is the first privately owned charter airline. MRO Asia, Singapore, Jordan Aviation selected Pratt & Whitney GlobalService Partners (GSP) for a three-year Engine Management Program agreement. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.
Through the agreement, Pratt & Whitney GSP will use its web-based Advanced Diagnostics & Engine Management (ADEMTM) tools to provide engine performance monitoring services.
Pratt & Whitney’s team of skilled engine performance analysts also will analyze the data to forecast engine health and maintenance for Jordan Aviation. "The Pratt & Whitney Engine Management Program offers tools and provides expert analysis of data to help us optimize our engine maintenance schedule," said Jordan Aviation Chairman and President Deputy Zuhair Al-Khashman. "This proactive solution will reduce our maintenance costs and help us maintain reliable services for our customers."
